SRF served as the civil engineer on this brownfields redevelopment project in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The former Globe facility, which was demolished in 2005, was a former asphalt-shingle manufacturing facility and contained extensive oil, fuel oil, asbestos and tar contamination. SRF worked extensively with the environmental engineer to design a site layout for McQueen Equipment Group’s new retail and maintenance facility in Saint Paul. The scope of SRF’s site development services included completed the civil site design (site planning and layout, utilities, pavement design, earthwork/grading and stormwater management design).
