The City of Inver Grove Heights was developing a new fire station and recognized that public utility extensions were required to service the area. SRF assisted the City with design and oversight for the new sanitary sewer, watermain, and fiber optic utility extensions for multiple properties. The project was challenged with fast-track schedule, feasibility study, public engagement, crossing private property, boring underneath Highway 52/55, agency coordination, dealing with multiple adjacent projects under construction, and monitoring of post-construction concerns.
