As Senior Vice President of Business Development at SRF, Andy is devoted to building relationships and strategic partnerships that facilitate and prioritize growth opportunities within the industry. Andy collaborates with leadership and staff to create strategies that promote organizational efficiencies and support company goals.
Throughout his 20+ year career, Andy led SRF’s regional offices in Wisconsin, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Saint Paul and worked on various transportation projects for cities, counties, and state Departments of Transportation. His work focuses on freight and rail projects, statewide policy, corridor studies, traffic incident management, and train whistle quiet zone studies. Andy’s extensive knowledge of the Final Quiet Zone Rule and experience on quiet zone projects is widely recognized. Numerous organizations have invited him to present quiet zone projects and policies at regional and national conferences, elevating him as a subject matter expert.
Andy formerly served on the Board of Directors for Minnesota Operation Lifesaver. This non-profit organization promotes public safety education to end collisions, deaths, and injuries at highway-rail crossings and on railroad property.
When he’s not building relationships and teams, Andy appreciates spending time with his family and traveling. He is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, and playing golf with friends.
