Adrian Potter was recently presented with the 2023 Honorable Ray LaHood Award by WTS-MN. This is an annual recognition honoring a man who is a leader in the transportation industry and has demonstrated a commitment to advancing women and people of color in the transportation community.
During his 25 years at SRF, Adrian has always led his project teams by example. No matter what he is involved in, he strives to ensure all voices are heard, whether it’s managing a transportation project design or participating in employee activities. Adrian is an integral member of SRF’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and the Community Outreach Committee. With his infectious energy and passion, Adrian has been a key contributor to Courageous Conversations, an internal enrichment series that empowers employees to openly discuss sensitive and difficult topics as they relate to each other and their work.
As the Traffic Engineering Project Director, Adrian is committed to making sure his team, other SRF employees, and clients are respected, valued, and, most of all, welcomed. His humble style creates lasting impacts on those who interact with him. Adrian cares deeply about the clients we serve and the communities in which we live and work.
“Not only is he organizing these efforts, but he also always shows up and shares his time with those in need.”
Sara Schmidt, Traffic Engineering Project Manager
