Our dynamic and successful Right of Way Group is seeking a full-time Real Estate – Right of Way Specialist.
What is Right of Way? It’s working with people to acquire property for important public projects to improve our communities. We would be happy to introduce you to this field!
This position is based in either our Minneapolis, MN, or Fargo, ND office. As a Right of Way Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing for and negotiating the acquisition of property and right of ways for transportation and facility projects.
Responsibilities:
- Work with property owners, public agency staff and the public in explaining right of way activities and may negotiate terms and compensation for acquisition or sale.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Real Estate experience preferred.
- Excellent people skills.
- Very detailed oriented and well organized.
- Excellent interpersonal and public communication skills.
- Proficiency in several computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
- North Dakota and/or Minnesota Real Estate License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment. SRF will support this pursuit.
- Ability to travel as needed.
