A milestone to celebrate; the SRF team joined Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, Ramsey County, Washington County, and other local delegates for the groundbreaking of the METRO Gold Line BRT.
SRF has played a crucial role in the development of the 10-mile BRT route, providing planning and design services as part of larger consultant teams.
The transit corridor will provide access to job centers, housing options, transit stations, and key destinations along the I-94 corridor, connecting the Union Depot in St. Paul with stops in East St. Paul, Maplewood, Landfall, Oakdale, and Woodbury.
SRF is under contract to provide construction administration and inspection for the Gold Line project.
Service for the BRT corridor is anticipated to begin in 2025.
