SRF Consulting Group’s Marie Cote, PE, PTOE, and Adrian Potter, PE, PTOE, were recognized for completing the 2023 Inclusive Workplaces Cohort (IWC). The Center for Economic Inclusion and the Workforce Innovation Board of Ramsey County are partnering to provide Ramsey County businesses with an Executive Leadership Cohort learning experience.
Launched in 2021, the IWC is a groundbreaking opportunity to become a more inclusive workplace and ensure businesses are amplifying the diversity of their communities as a tool for economic growth for all. The ultimate goal of the program is to assemble a workforce that is sustainable while also supporting improved profitability.
Sessions take place once a month for 11 months and the curriculum includes topics such as “Unpacking Unconscious Bias” and “Sustaining Inclusive Leadership.” According to their website, “The goal of the cohort is to accelerate employers’ ability to advance racial equity, diversity and inclusion within their organizations and to support businesses that aim to leverage and sustain a more inclusive and sustainable workforce that supports better bottom-line results.”
Thank you, Marie and Adrian, for your ongoing dedication to this important issue and for helping SRF understand the work we still need to do as an organization to move forward as an inclusive workplace.
