Education:
Master of Science and Master of Landscape Architecture, University of Minnesota,
Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Mankato State University

What do you enjoy most about your job? 
I am always learning something new.

What type of projects interest you the most? 
I find multidisciplinary, urban redevelopment projects the most interesting.

What do you feel like is the most important role of a landscape architect and why?
Landscape Architects are trained to analyze and integrate numerous (and many time competing) programmatic requirements while creating a “place” that meets the environmental, functional, and social needs of a community.

What are your favorite hobbies and interests outside of work? 
I enjoy water sports (sailing and kayaking), biking and battling with the rabbits that like to eat my garden plants.

What is your favorite park?
Temperance River State Park – I love the all the falls.

What is the first concert you ever attended?
ELO (Electric Light Orchestra)

Who inspires you?
Many of the younger Landscape Architects – I love their fresh ideas and approaches.
