St. Hubert Catholic School Water Quality Project

SRF was retained by Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District (RPBCWD) to develop potential stormwater opportunity projects at the St. Hubert Catholic School site in Chanhassen. SRF led the project from conceptual through final design. During conceptual design, SRF met with RPBCWD and school staff and held a workshop to discuss several conceptual ideas. SRF’s Landscape Architect and Water Resources team provided a benefit and cost matrix and various renderings, cost estimates, and example photos to foster a good discussion on the potential for various projects around the campus. Currently the team is developing construction plans for tree trenches, rain gardens, an outdoor classroom, underground storage, playground improvements, native landscaping, pavement reduction and infrastructure repair.
